I have for several years has a passion for creating free software that is some way or other enhance the privacy of Internet users, starting with my first Drupal project, Anonymous publishing – released about five years ago.
Now, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) have given prominence to the terms privacy by design, privacy by default and right of erasure, thereby making my passion a part of mainstream privacy regulation in the EU and EEA. With just two months to go before the GDPR becomes the law on privacy, I found he time ripe to create a web site for the PET project. It is currently just a one-man project focused on for experimenting with privacy enhancing technology, but by creating this web site, I want to create a locus for showcasing projects that enhance privacy, as well as a place to maintian a curated repository of resources (i.e. academic papers, tutorials and webpages) that may be helpful to a community of practice focused on privacy enhancing technology.
