I have for several years has a passion for creating free software that is some way or other enhance the privacy of Internet users, starting with my first Drupal project, Anonymous publishing – released about five years ago.
About the PET project
This is the home page of the PET project. The project is open to all that is interested in PETs (i.e. Privacy Enhancing technologies), including technologies that implements Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default – two concepts that has recently given prominence by being made part of European privacy regulatory framework named General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The project is an initiative by Gisle Hannemyr at the Unversity of Oslo, but open to anyone who wants to join. It aims to be a meeting spot for researchers, practitioners and activists interested in PETs.
